Being the top ranked BMW Master Technician in the U.S. in 1985
and again in 1986, based on experience, technical knowledge and
proficiency (BMW national competitions).
Named as one of the original 53 BMW Master Technicians of the
U.S. in 1983.
Appointed as one of the eleven original members of the BMW
Master's Guild in 1987.
District Master winner in the 1987 and 1988 BMW national competitions.
Past completion (1980 to 1988) of 432 hours of BMW-specific
training and BMW technical seminars in the U.S and in Germany.
ASE Certified Master Technician since 1979.
Received a certificate from the University of Hawaii in automotive
technology/mechanics in 1977 after completing the U.H. technical
school (1336 hours) and on-the-job training program there, and
was the top standing graduate of the program that year.
